If you drive your US RV rental along the Parks Highway, South of Mount McKinley you’ll see views of the Sheep Creek, Montana creek, Willow Creek , Deshka Landing and that little Susitna river. Campgrounds or RV Parks in these streams are near and the best part to experience these streams is to go fishing. Join the fishermen along the shore or you can either get guides or boats. Some fisherman tend to concentrate on their fishing thing so it is your first time to hold the fishing rod, these aren’t the people you should get a tutor from. Some fishermen though would be glad to offer fishing tips. I haven’t gone to where they said the best fishing spot lies, but if you want to get up close and personal to that spot, it would be at the Little Su near the boat launch and campground which are about 15 miles up Knik Goose Bay Road from its intersection at Parks Highway.

There is this place too called the Matsu Valley, everyone who explores Alaska by a vehicle, would actually get to pass along the Valley. If you drive from South of Fairbanks, you’ll be approaching the north side of the Valley shortly after driving along Denali State Park. They say this Matsu Valley offers great fishing grounds on its roadside streams.

If you go to Talkeena and aim of climbing is you should go between April to July and you’ll see a lot of climbing enthusiasts. Flight seeing would be the best adventure if you want to explore Mount McKinley and other peaks in Alaska Range. Driving on the Glenn Highway already features a scenery. There is the famous glacier of Matanuska. This is the largest and the most accessible glacier to park and camp. And there’s nothing lighter than parking on the sight of the glacier.
